“… my dear sisters and brothers in the communities of FCCCPC, AFCM and CCRC. I hope you are all well.

“Election is just around the corner (October 27), and pretty soon we will exercise our responsibility and duty to vote for the people in the government and in our School Boards.

“I am unconditionally recommending three candidates for the positions of Trustee in the Toronto Catholic School Board:

1.. Mr. Joey Abrenilla – Ward 5 (North York)

2. Mr. Emmanuel Yanga – Ward 7 (Scarborough & North York)

3. Mr. Ace Alvarez – Ward 12 (Scarborough)

“They are practicing & devout Roman Catholics who strongly support the idea of sustaining and maintaining the Roman Catholic Teachings and values in our Catholic Schools. They are active in supporting and defending the Church.

“There are approximately 93,000 students in our 200 Catholic schools, so obviously a lot of students will be affected by the type and quality of Trustees who will be in the School Board. Our children are the future of our communities and our country. Children who grow up in the love of God in the Catholic schools and the Church will likely grow up to be compassionate, respectful of the environment, of life and other peoples of all religions.

They will be excellent leaders of our communities and our country in the future.

“I, therefore, strongly urge you, your families, relatives and friends, to vote for these candidates as Trustees in our Catholic School Board. We need their presence in the Board.

“Thank you very much and God bless.”
